Feucht is an ISO 9001:2015 certified company. Certified areas are: manufacture of deburring machines custom designs, assembly of components and the manufacture and sale of precision, turned and milled parts.
In 2015 Feucht applied for funding from the regional programme entitled Spitze auf dem Land Technology Leaders in Baden-Württemberg. The occasion was the planning of a new building, Plant 2, in St. Johann-Upfingen. The funding comes from the ELR (Rural Development) programme and the ERDF (European Regional Development Fund). Only companies with a very high innovative capability and whose technological excellence makes them leaders in their field can apply.
After Feucht was awarded the contract in the fifth selection round, State Secretary Friedlinde Gurr-Hirsch MdL, Karl-Wilhelm Röhm MdL and Florian Bauer (BM St. Johann) visited the company in summer 2016. The State Secretary emphasised that ever-increasing global competition means that companies in rural areas have to be constantly innovating and capable of withstanding increasing market pressures. "The regional government is specifically supporting SMEs with fewer than 100 employees with its Spitze auf dem Land scheme. Subsidies are available for investment in buildings or equipment. In this way, innovation can be strengthened, jobs created and wealth distributed throughout Baden-Württemberg," said Gurr-Hirsch.

Feucht was awarded one of the annual innovation prizes by the Kreissparkasse Reutlingen (foundation) in cooperation with the Reutlingen Chamber of Trades & Crafts. We entered with our centreless deburring tool and won 2nd prize, worth 2,500.
We are proud and grateful for this award and the recognition it bestows. Prof. Helmut Nebeling of Reutlingen University rated the centreless deburring machine as an "outstanding achievement that deserves the highest recognition". A total of sixteen crafts enterprises were in the selection process and there were eighteen competition entries.
Feucht attaches great importance to social responsibility. Since 2007 we have been working closely with the Samaritanstiftung, in whose workshops in Münsingen the entire steel material of the Upfingen-based company was milled and where simple assembly work was carried out.
Taking part is everything. This original Olympic motto is the focus of the Baden-Württemberg Special Olympics. Anyone can participate in the Special Olympics children, teenagers, adults regardless of their level of ability. Everyone is honoured for their courage and individual achievements. We are happy to support this great competition. Special Olympics Certificate
From a one-man operation to a medium-sized company
Feucht Antriebstechnik GmbH is a family-run company from St. Johann-Upfingen, founded in 1997, which is now active nationwide. Originating from a small one-man operation, the business areas from the trade in roller bearings developed further in such a way that further elements were integrated with conveyor technology and the production of drive elements. "I started in the traditional way as a one-man company in a garage," recalls founder Rolf Feucht. In 1997, the mechanical engineering technician built the first workshop at the current location, and a year later the GmbH was founded. "We then built larger machines, but due to the human and spatial capacities, we were only able to work on one project at a time," says the 57-year-old. But there was no lack of orders, on the contrary. In 2004, son Tim joined the company after completing his training as a mechanical engineering technician. Shortly before the economic crisis, another structural expansion took place in 2009 in the form of an even larger factory hall. "A lot of people shook their heads back then - the crisis was already foreseeable and we still invested," says Rolf Feucht. But the risk was worth it: Feucht GmbH survived the economically difficult period without having to register short-time work and was well prepared for the future with sufficient production space and state-of-the-art machinery. Eleven permanent employees plus various temporary workers now work for the company, which has made a name for itself nationwide as a supplier to mechanical engineering, the textile industry, hydraulics manufacturers and mechanical engineers. Daughter Silke Feucht has been responsible for the commercial side since 2011, since 2012 Rolf and Tim Feucht have shared the management equally. In addition to mechanical engineering, parts are mass-produced in the millions on CNC machines. "In the future we want to further expand the segment of manufacturing professional brush deburring machines," announces Tim Feucht.
