After a long wait, the 1st part of the machining centre was delivered.
The LEADER project is thus in the middle of implementation.
By the end of the year, the associated robotics will also be delivered, so that better production conditions can finally be created thanks to support from LEADER funding with EAFRD funds.

Patent Certificate
The new development is a device and at the same time a new throughfeed process for grinding, deburring and edge rounding of rotationally symmetrical workpieces with non-shaped contours/interference contours, such as shoulders, collars, ball shoulders, grooves, recesses or undercuts.

Innovation made in St. Johann
LEADER Mittlere Alb supports Feucht GmbH from St. Johann with the purchase of a processing center for the production of a patented felling wedge.
Feucht GmbH is a family-run company from St. Johann-Upfingen. A new machine, a so-called processing center, is required for the professional manufacture of our own patented felling wedge, which is used when felling trees or making firewood. The company had applied for funding from LEADER Mittlere Alb for the purchase of the processing center. Now the machine is ordered and the project implementation begins, about which the public is to be informed. Managing director Tim Feucht and commercial manager Silke Costanzo invited regional manager Elisabeth Markwardt to this occasion and received the LEADER explanation board from her.
Device and method for brushing patent pending
The development work of Feucht GmbH in mechanical engineering to provide cutting-edge technologies for deburring technology continued despite Corona as part of a project funded by the BWWi. In order to protect intellectual property, property rights work was carried out immediately after the project was completed in January 2021, which was successfully completed at the end of 2021 with the filing of a patent at the DPMA.
The new development is a new device and a new through-feed process for grinding, deburring and edge rounding of rotationally symmetrical workpieces with bulky contours/interfering contours such as shoulders, collars, ball shoulders, grooves, recesses or undercuts. It also enables sequential brushing of workpiece areas/contours to allow different surface roughness depths on a workpiece
This new development will soon expand the portfolio of deburring technology, is suitable for processing plastic and metal and can be adapted to the special needs of customers.
Mechanical felling wedge
The patented felling wedge FK-01-12 from our own development work complements the sales portfolio of Feucht GmbH with immediate effect. The felling wedge is characterized by its own weight of only 1.65 kg, making it the perfect companion for forest work, timber harvesting and tree care. Available in our online shop.

Advance notice - new patented felling wedge from our own development
A new, patented felling wedge from our own development work will soon be added to the sales portfolio of Feucht GmbH. The felling wedge is characterized by claw plates/retaining plates made of spring steel with a new type of curved retaining teeth/claws, which are very sharp-edged and whose cavities are welded and smoothed on the back to prevent them from bending back. The retaining teeth ensure that the wedge is held very well against slipping out of the saw gap, as they engage perfectly in the tree wood of the saw gap. It also has a smooth-running and self-lubricating sliding wedge made of special plastic that widens the felling wedge. The felling wedge can be driven with a ratchet or screwdriver.

Universal wedge clamp
Available now: the new universal wedge clamp from Feucht GmbH. By tightening the clamping screw, the clamping wedge is pressed down and the two clamping jaws move outwards and clamp the workpiece. New - centering vice available now
The centering vice for 5-axis machining is a new development from Feucht GmbH and is suitable for single part and series production. The centering vice FZS-01-65 complete with accessories is now available from us.

Aufnahme in das Förderprogramm ´Spitze auf dem Land´
Es werden nur Firmen aufgenommen, die neben Grundkriterien auch eine sehr hohe Innovationsfähigkeit besitzen und mit ihrer Technologiekompetenz die Chance auf eine Technologieführerschaft haben. Die Landesregierung unterstützt mit der ‚Spitze auf dem Land‘-Förderlinie gezielt mittlere Unternehmen mit weniger als 100 Beschäftigten. 2. Preis beim Innovationswettbewerb
Die Feucht GmbH bekam von der Kreissparkasse Reutlingen (Stiftung) in Zusammenarbeit mit der Handwerkskammer Reutlingen einen der jährlich verliehenen Innovationspreise überreicht. Dieses Jahr hatten wir uns mit der Eigenkonstruktion und Entwicklung der Centerless Entgratmaschine beworben und damit den 2. Preis gewonnen. Dieser ist mit 2500 € dotiert gewesen. Wir freuen uns sehr über diesen Preis und die damit verbundene Anerkennung für unsere Entwicklung.
